Meet the Doctors

Dr. John B. Souther, D.C., C.C.E.P.

Dr. Souther is a native of the Plant City area and has been blessed with the opportunity of serving the community with quality healthcare since 2003.

Dr. Souther approaches the care of his patients with the understanding that each person has unique health concerns and goals. Providing each patient with quality health care in a safe effective manner that addresses the individual needs of the person is how we approach patient care.

This starts with Dr. Souther taking the time to listen to the health concerns of the patient and to determine the cause of the symptom(s) by performing a thorough evaluation.

Once the cause of your health problem has been determined, Dr. Souther will take the time to explain your exam findings with you, recommend the appropriate course of treatment for you and answer your questions. If Dr. Souther does not feel he is able to help you, then he will give you a referral to get you the help you need.

Background:
Dr. Souther began studying nutritional therapies throughout High School when he received Certification from Trinity School of Natural Health as a Certified Natural Health Professional. Dr. Souther then began his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

Dr. Souther with his wife Kelley moved to Marietta, Georgia where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree with honors at Life University College of Chiropractic before returning home to begin practicing in Plant City and Lakeland Florida.

During his time in practice, Dr. Souther has also completed training in additional techniques including Graston soft tissue therapy, NAET allergy elimination technique and in the assessment and treatment of joint extremities as he has complete certification as an extremities practitioner from the Counsel on Extremity Adjusting.

Dr. Souther enjoys teaching and providing his patients with Chiropractic and nutritional healthcare to individuals of all ages and health concerns.
